Your pest problem...our pest solution

Spiders

When spiders start decorating corners—it’s time to show them the exit door.

Those eight-legged friends (or foes, depending on your perspective) that seem to magically appear in your home just as the weather starts to cool down. It’s like they have a sixth sense for sniffing out the coziest spot to spend the winter – indoors!

The truth is, most spiders are harmless and actually quite helpful in keeping your home pest-free.   The best advice is to just leave them alone, but this can be very difficult for people who have a real fear of spiders.

So if you need to keep your house spider-free, let us help you keep them outside.

What you can do to uninvite spiders:

Keep it tidy and neat

Keep your space tidy and clean! Spiders thrive in the dark and loves to hide in dusty, cluttered spaces.

Seal wall cracks and holes

Block hidden entrances where spiders can enter your space.

Turn off the lights

Keep outdoor lights off at night, as the lights attracts insects which in turn attracts spiders.

Use natural repellants

Mix a few drops of tea tree, eucalyptus or lavender oil with water and spray it around entry points.

Did you know that there are more than 3,000 known species of spiders in South Africa!  Luckily only four of these are poisonous, and luckily none are deadly.

But if spiders are not taking a hint, and you have a spider infestation, let Pestinators take care of them!
